Planned Replication Downtime
We need to do some maintenance to move the server that backs our skimdb.npmjs.com replication endpoint, between 8 and 9pm US/Pacific, this Saturday, April 5. (That is, from 2014-04-06T03:00:00Z until 2014-04-06T04:00:00Z.) It will be unavailable for about 30 minutes during that time.
This will not in any way impact the public npm registry or website. However, if you are running an internal npm replica that syncs from this server, you may see a flood of connection errors as we migrate this database to a server with a quieter disk drive that should provide better IO throughput.
